House Martin. Mājas čurkste. Delichon urbicum. Mehlschwalbe. Hussvala. Räästapääsuke. Городская ласточка.
  • I haven’t seen them in my native city, but during a project of my photo club (Pagasti 2011), we visited a village, where I saw a house, which was holding like 40 clay nests right under the roof. When it is getting warmer they have to make their nests – they mix earth (usually clay) with water and their spit to make a mass which is the main ingredient for their nests.
  • Starting tip: find their nests, find a water place near their nests and wait for the birds to get there.
