• I got this bird at my first trip to Mērsrags. It was already autumn and the water vegetation had started to rot. All the stuff from the rotting was right on the border with the sea. That is the place where the birds were searching for food. You have to lay down (it stinks, a lot) and play the waiting game.
• Starting tip: notice where these birds are, make an ambush there and wait for the birds to get back (I guess while making the ambush you feared them away). It won’t take too long. Masking is a must, voices not needed.
