• When I first heard the English word for this species, I giggled, seriously (like someone has grabbed something too strong and it got blue). Here in Latvia it seemed quite uncommon, till I „shot” the first one. After that I see them everyday everywhere. Despite it is very common, I find it an amusing and beautiful one.
•  Starting tip: use its voice to get him come to you. In my experience it doesn’t matter if it’s a warning sound or some singing to get the girls attracted, they WILL show up and they will get close. In my opinion masking is still not required, but would get more closer and better results if you do so.
